About Me

I'm passionate about ALTA tennis and Auburn Football.  I love to garden and decorate. Growing up, I lived in Florence, Alabama, a lovely town on the Tennessee River.  I attended Auburn University where I met my husband of 30 years.  For many years I taught elementary school in Alpharetta, Georgia. I have a Master's Degree from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia.  I've served on my neighborhood Homeowner's Association's Board and have been captain of innumerably many ALTA and USTA teams.
I'm experienced in investment property acquisition, renovation, sale and lease.
Since 2005 I've attained Million Dollar Club status with the North Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors, earning my Lifetime Membership in 2008.  In 2009 I was the Solid Source, Realty's #47 agent of 2700 and in 2010 my daughter/team partner and I were awarded #9 Team.
In 2010 I started  Pretty Old Houses blog where I chronicle our adventures in renovating our 1936 Tudor home in Atlanta.
